An effective swimming pool programme is essential if you are to cater for the diverse needs of your community and encourage more people to swim and take part in aquatic activities as a part of the wider sport, physical activity and health agendas.

MEND (Mind, Exercise, Nutrition…Do it!) is a social enterprise that works with local, regional, national and international partners to achieve their shared vision of fitter, healthier and happier families. This workshop will highlight some model aquatic projects that have successfully tackled child health & childhood obesity.
Writing YOUR aquatics strategy
The asa has now produced its strategy for the next 4years. This workshop will provide an insight into this strategy and some practical support and advice on how to develop your own aquatics strategy that will meet the needs of your local community and the wider aspirations of the governing body.
